Galactic is a five-piece " Jazz - Funk - Rock fusion" band from New Orleans, Louisiana . As of the end of 2005 the group has released six albums and has played throughout Europe, Japan, and all across the United States. The band's most recent album, 2003's '' Ruckus '', was produced by Dan The Automator . After their vocalist, Theryl "Houseman" DeClouet, left in 2004, the band refocused on instrumental works.
