Profile

G'Hall Vicath is the supreme spiritual and military leader of the Viron nomads. This role gives him the ability to speak for all the Virons and each clan that currently exists. He has served as the Viron Lord for thirty years and he uses the Viron Honor Code (No'He'Khum) for his reasoning that he is the true leader of the Virons.

G'Hall is a warrior at heart and can be seen on the front lines of combat with his brethren. His personal guard, the Gr'mehk'Khass (The Tempest Gray) strikes fear into any adversary. G'Hall's face and body are ridden with scars and ritual marks of self-mutilation. His left eye is gone, suspected to have been lost in battle, and in its place is a patch that has been stitched directly over it.

Interestingly, G'Hall rarely speaks despite his apparent role as the spokesperson for the Viron Nomads. In battle he is known to only use gestures and glances to command his troops. When he does talk however, he takes great pleasure in verbally taunting his opponents in battle. Some personality traits from battle have carried on with him when he is off duty, as many Virons claim that he is always in state of perpetual rage.

Today, his rule has come under fire recently. He now sides with the Terran Empire to subjugate the NSA citizens and many of the Viron clan leaders are furious about this decision. The Terran Empire had attacked the Viron homeworld leaving the Virons as a slave army for the Imperials. Many of the Viron Vicaths (Clan leaders) wish to fight against the Terran oppression, however G'Hall steadfastly continues his current position on things. Also, the Vicaths have been noticing that G'Hall's behavior has somewhat degenerated and his remaining eye is diluted and misty, a tell tale sign of drug addiction. Drug addiction in Viron culture is deeply dishonorable and could result in G'Hall being deposed as the leader of the Virons.

NOTES

  • G'Hall's voice work is credited to Steve Blum .

  • G'Hall is featured as the mascot for the Virons, however he only appears in the NSA single player campaign. Drahk'Mar is in both and plays a much more prominent role leaving the question as to why G'Hall is the representative of the Virons.

  • Interstingly enough, despite G'Hall's brutish personality, his voice does not seem to do him as much justice.
