Formula Renault




Formula Renault is a racing class founded in 1971 popular in Europe and a few countries in the rest of the world.

It is a form of Formula Racing , where the cars are Open-wheeler cars built to a specification. In Formula Renault, the cars are all Tatuus made chassis running 2.0-litre Renault Clio Street car engines with mild modification bolted to a Formula Three gearbox.

It is regarded as an entry-level series to Motor Racing . It is a respected series where drivers can learn advanced racecraft before moving on to Formula Three , GP2 , or Formula One .

Chassis


Carbon Fibre cell designed and developed by Tatuus and Renault Sport . Also FIA -approved roll hoop and lateral driver's head protection. Introduced in 2000 and updated with new bodywork in 2004.
