Fieldsboro is a Borough located in Burlington County , New Jersey . As of the United States 2000 Census , the borough had a total population of 522. GEOGRAPHY Fieldsboro is located at 40°8'14" North, 74°43'45" West (40.137118, -74.729209). According to the United States Census Bureau , the borough has a total area of 0.7 Km&2 (0.3 Mi&2 ). 0.7 km&2 (0.3 mi&2) of it is land and none of it is covered by water. Fieldsboro borders Bordentown Township and the Delaware River . DEMOGRAPHICS As of the Census of 2000, there were 522 people, 189 households, and 138 families residing in the borough. The Population Density was 746.5/km&2 (1,921.0/mi&2). There were 204 housing units at an average density of 291.7/km&2 (750.7/mi&2). The racial makeup of the borough was 81.61% White , 15.90% African American , 0.19% Native American , 0.00% Asian , 0.00% Pacific Islander , 0.38% from Other Races , and 1.92% from two or more races. 2.49% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race. There were 189 households out of which 34.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.3% were Married Couples living together, 16.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.5% were non-families. 17.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.76 and the average family size was 3.17. In the borough the population was spread out with 25.3% under the age of 18, 6.7% from 18 to 24, 38.3% from 25 to 44, 17.2% from 45 to 64, and 12.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 35 years. For every 100 females there were 88.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.0 males. The median income for a household in the borough was $58,958, and the median income for a family was $66,607. Males had a median income of $41,932 versus $35,625 for females.
