Information About

Far Eastern University - Nicanor Reyes Educational Foundation

FEU-FERN College, an affiliate of FEU, is a non-stock, non-profit educational institution at Sampaguita Avenue, Mapayapa Village, Diliman, Quezon City . It was established in 1994. The 15-hectare campus was originally constructed for the Institute of Technology in the 1970s.

It was founded in commemoration of the birth centennial of Dr. Nicanor Reyes, Sr. , founder and first of FEU. It embodies the basic educational philosophy of Dr. Reyes who pioneered in expanding the Filipino youth's access to quality education.

FEU-FERN is the home of the UAAP Junior Tamaraws and the future site of the FEU athletics & aquatic center.

The college offers affordable elementary and secondary education and degree courses on a trimestral calendar. This makes possible the completion of a four-year baccalaureate program in three years and one trimester or sooner.

To distinguish the educational foundation from its counterpart (the Medical Foundation ), the acronyms NREF were then spelled backwards, forming "FERN."

The college commits itself to developing professionals of exemplary integrity and work ethic in the fields it has chosen to serve.
