M32 (also known as ''NGC 221'') is a Dwarf Elliptical Galaxy about 2.9 Million Light-year s away in the Constellation Andromeda . M32 is a Satellite Galaxy of the famous Andromeda Galaxy (M31) and was discovered by Le Gentil in 1749 and measures only 8,000 light-years in diameter. Like most galaxies of it's type, M32 contains only old stars with no star formation taken place for at least the last few billion years.
