Electoral District Of Gladstone




The current member is independant Liz Cunningham who won the seat on National Party preferences after the retirement of the ALP's Neil Bennett at the 1995 Election . Mrs Cunningham was a well known local figure, having been Mayor of Calliope prior to entering State politics.

The seat of Gladstone consists of the city of Gladstone and the Calliope Shire LGA. This includes the town of Calliope , and the locallities of Ambrose , Benaraby , Boyne Island , Builyan Mount Larcom , Tannum Sands and Ubobo .
