Eindhoven Airport is a small Airport near Eindhoven , Netherlands . The airport is being used for both civilian and military traffic. After World War II up until a few years ago, Eindhoven Airport was called Welschap. During WWII it was extensively bombed. When construction started of the new Meerhoven district in the vicinity of the airport, a lot of Bomb s were found and had to be defused. On July 17 1996 , a C-130 Hercules crashed at the airport.
