By 1997, Dungeon was down to a three piece with no drummer but the situation was quickly rectified when Steve Moore of Addictive joined. The band recorded their first official album ''Resurrection'' in 1998 and it was released the following year. From this point, Dungeon went from strength to strength and quickly became one of the most popular Australian Heavy Metal Bands . Despite constant line-up changes, the band has perservered and has now released four albums including a re-recording of ''Resurrection''. Dungeon developed a well-earned reputation as an extremely hard working and excellent live band. They toured almost constantly throughout Australia since 1999 and have opened for a wealth of touring international metal bands including Opeth , Mayhem , Megadeth , Nevermore , Destruction , Edguy , Doro Pesch and more. In 2003, Dungeon toured Japan and in mid-2005 the band toured extensively through Europe . In September 2005, after returning from their European tour, Dungeon issued a press release on their official website announcing their break up. They performed their last show at The Gaelic Club , in Surry Hills , Sydney on December 11 , 2005 . Dungeon has announced that they will be releasing one final album entitled ''The Final Chapter'' in 2006. The band's various members have moved on to other projects. Grose and the final line-up's drummer Tim Yatras will continue the Dungeon legacy under the name LORD , under which title Grose released a solo album in 2003. This band continues to play the Dungeon back-catalogue live and follows on in the same musical style as Dungeon. Both men also feature in the Newcastle studio-based power metal band Ilium . Stu Marshall formed a band called 20 Grams with Yatras briefly on drums. Former bass player Sayers plays in a parody rock act called Platinum Brunette, early guitarist Stephen Mikulic is a member of Lycanthia and Grahame Goode and Pete Peric are the founding members of Infernal Method . One-time drummer Steve Moore played in thrash band Vaticide for sometime but retired from music in 2004. BAND MEMBERS
