Droma is a member of the '', the fourth novel of the '' New Jedi Order '' series. Droma meets Han Solo in a chance encounter on the ''Jubilee Wheel'' space station, during a Yuuzhan Vong attack on Ord Mantell in the early stages of the war. Teaming up to help several other inhabitants of the station to escape, Droma takes on the role of Solo's copilot, providing a replacement for Chewbacca . Droma remained with Han for the next year, assisting with the refugee resettlement effort and serving as Han's Second . Droma and Han parted ways during the Yuuzhan Vong attack on Duro ; Droma flying a bulk freighter full of refugees while Han reunited with his family. Following this, Droma disappeared, spending the next two years organising the 'Ryn Underground', using the fellow members of his race to provide intelligence and support to the Galactic Alliance and Vong-subjugated populations. APPEARANCES Droma appears in the following '' New Jedi Order '' novels. He also has an influencing role as the 'Head Ryn' from the ''Force Heretic'' storyarc onwards.
