It is also stated in the Karaethon Cycle that the Dragon Reborn will be born on the slopes of Dragonmount. In the end, this prophecy comes true, as Rand, the Dragon Reborn is born on the slopes of Dragonmount to a dying Aiel Maiden of the Spear during the Battle of the Shining Walls in the Aiel War. Due to several references to smoke rising from Dragonmount's peak, it's fairly safe to say that Lews Therin's "creation" is an active or dormant volcano. |
