The series lasted three seasons through

1986 . Although not well known in the
USA , the series was popular in
Europe .
The storyline involves the investigations of two detectives, a British woman and an American man, who was sent to
London for an international exchange.
The first series (of three) is available on DVD (Region 2, U.K.) from Network and includes interviews and audio commentary on selected episodes with both Michael Brandon and Glynis Barber. Series two is currently scheduled for release on
26 June 2006 .
