The Defense Housing Society Karachi Phase I has already been developed. The Phase II is now being developed along the Super Highway , where the Defence Housing Authority, Karachi has purchased 12,000 acres of land from the Sindh government. {Link without Title} There are several ethnic groups in Defense Housing Society including Urdu speakers, Punjabis , Sindhis , Kashmir is, Seraikis , Pakhtuns , Baloch s, Memon s, Bohra s, Ismaili s, etc. Over 99% of the population is Muslim .
