TRIVIA

  • "Final Distance" is a reworking of the song "Distance" from Hikaru Utada's album of the same name. The song was created in memory of a fan who was murdered in school by a mentally ill man.

  • All songs on the album are written by Utada Hikaru.

  • "Simple and Clean" is an English version of "Hikari" with lyrics penned by Hikaru Utada herself. Both songs are the theme songs for their respective language releases of the PlayStation 2 game Kingdom Hearts .

  • The chorus melody of "Uso Mitai na I Love You" was originally intended for use in "Hikari", but the lyrics did not match the melody. The melody was thrown out and a new one was written for "Hikari", and the original melody ended up in "Simple and Clean" as well as "Uso Mitai na I Love You".
