In 1973 , he recorded the solo album '' How Time Flys ''.

Now he lives happily on Whidbey Island with his wife, Judith Walcutt and his sons, Orson and Preston.

Further Career

During the 1980's David left the Firesign Theatre, primarily to produce radio for National Public Radio .

During the 1990's David and his wife, Judith Walcutt, formed Otherworld Media, through which they produced Audio Theatre for children, as well as a series of major star-studded Audio Theatre broadcasts for Public Radio , including We Hold These Truths (1991) , Empire Of The Air , War Of The Worlds 50th Anniversary Production , Raymond Chandler's 'Goldfish' , and the 100th Anniversary Audio Theatre adaption of '' The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz ''.

In the Feb 21, 2006 "Feedback" column of PC Magazine , Chris Sherlock (a Wikipedia administrator) is quoted as writing :

Although Wikipedia has many oddball articles (for instance, we have one on Exploding whales) not everything can be included. We routinely delete articles about people who are deemed to be non-notable (admittedly, this is a fairly ''low'' standard - we have an article on David Ossman...)
