Many of his comics have come to an end and some are difficult to still find. '' Living In Greytown '', '' Lizard! '', '' Smut '' and '' Purple Pussy '' are just a few of the dozens of strips he has created and completed. He has worked with the websites Keenspot , Albino Blacksheep , and Mega64 . He is currently working with the website Something Awful . PSEUDONYMS Kelly goes by many pseudonyms, ''Shmorky'' being the most common currently. The story that this pseudonym is derived from former 1950s animator, Schmorisson "Shmorky" Kay, is in fact a fabrication. Kelly stated on the ''Something Awful'' forums that "there is no real Shmorky, I just like the idea. It did fool some people and that was kind of cool." He and Josh "Colorfinger" Jones (who is responsible for many of the voices and background music at Something Awful's Flash Tub) created the fake Lucky Strike commercial found on the Shmorky homepage. CONTROVERSY Like Crumb before him, Kelly often got in trouble with fans and peers alike. His love of caricature and uncensored wit could become sore points with colleagues -- although his satire was never mean-spirited. His webcomic ''Lizard'' bears the tongue-in-cheek warning, "May Cause Boredom." The subject matter of Kelly's strips sometimes caused complaints from fans. In ''Living in Greytown'', some of the characters are Anthropomorphic animals, or Furries (a term Kelly hated). As Art Spiegelman did in '' Maus '', these "animals" often represented racial differences. Unlike ''Maus'', humans interacted with the animal characters as peers. When a human and canine character had a romantic relationship, cries of Bestiality were raised. EXTERNAL LINKS
