Danny Cooksey (born November 27 , 1975 in Moore, Oklahoma ) is a Musician , Actor and voice actor. He has been in show business since he was very young and is remembered for playing ''Sam McKinney'' on the last years of the TV show '' Diff'rent Strokes ''.

Other famous roles include the voice of ''. He is also memorable for his role as Robert "Bobby" Budnick on the Nickelodeon TV show '' Salute Your Shorts ''. He also appeared opposite Dolly Parton and Lee Majors in the telefilm A Smoky Mountain Christmas , where he played an Orphan . He continues to pursue acting and voice acting work (for example as the title role in '' Dave The Barbarian ''), and '' Xiaolin Showdown '' as well as music.

Danny was the lead singer in the band Bad4Good . They released one CD, Refugee , on Interscope Records in 1992.

Danny Cooksey was born in Moore, Oklahoma in 1975 . In 1980 , he and his mother moved to Los Angeles with the intention to pursue a career in Country Music . When an agent saw his performance, he was invited to audition for '' Diff'rent Strokes ''. He spent 3 years as a regular in the show, before moving on to '' The Cavanaughs '', where he stayed for another 3 years.

After that he starred in several TV roles, most notably ''. He also lent his voice for ''Super Ted'', ''Tiny Toon Adventures'', ''Ren & Stimpy'', and Disney's ''101 Dalmatians'' TV series.


Music

Cooksey has lent his voice to several musical projects too.


Personal life

Cooksey is married to a make-up artist and actress named Amber. They have a daughter named Zoe.
