The Dalecarlia Reservoir is the primary storage basin for Drinking Water in Washington, DC , fed by an underground Aqueduct in turn fed by a low Dam which diverts a portion of the Potomac River near Great Falls . The Reservoir is located in the Palisades neighborhood of Northwest Washington. The Capital Crescent Trail runs adjacent to the resevoir and through the center of the pumping campus. . |
