Information About

Cyber Girl Of The Week

Cyber Girl of the Week (also CGOW) is a regular feature of Playboy 's Cyber Club and features a single pictorial of a (usually first-time) Playboy model each week. The pictorial debuts every Monday of the week, and usually consists of 15 photos of the model (but has been as large as 30 when the feature first started). The first Cyber Girl of the Week was Stephanie Heinrich in August 2000 .

A Cyber Girl of the Week can go on to be Cyber Girl Of The Month or Cyber Girl Of The Year . For each month a vote takes place among Playboy Cyber Club members determing their favorite Cyber Club of the Week model for that particular month. Four months later, the winner of that vote becomes Cyber Girl Of The Month for the current month. Later, the 12 Cyber Girl Of The Month models are voted on for Cyber Girl Of The Year .

  • Holly Madison , one of Hugh Hefner 's girlfriends and star of '' The Girls Next Door '', was actually selected as a Cyber Girl of the Week for the second week of January in 2003. However, due to unknown circumstances, her portfolio was quickly replaced by Lana Kinnear .

  • Anthea Szabo (09-2002) had three of her pictures removed due to Playboy reconsidering them as too revealing.
