Corbin Bleu (born February 21 , 1989 in Brooklyn , New York ) is an American actor of Jamaican and Italian descent. Corbin began his career as an actor, following in his father's footsteps. He then learned how to dance and became a model for stores such as Macy's , GAP , Target , and Toys "R" Us . He has played Austin in the movie Catch That Kid , Chad in the Disney Channel Original Movie , High School Musical , Young Tommy Webber in Galaxy Quest , and is currently playing Nathan in the Discovery Kids series '' Flight 29 Down '', He also guest starred as Johnny in the pilot episode of Disney Channel 's " Hannah Montana ".
