Compilation Of Final Fantasy Vii

''Compilation of Final Fantasy VII'' is the formal title for a series of games and films developed in 2004 and 2005 by Japan ese Console developer Square Enix . Spearheaded by Tetsuya Nomura and Yoshinori Kitase , the series currently consists of seven titles (either already in release or in development), all of which are either Sequel s, Midquel s, or Prequel s to Square's 1997 hit console and Computer Role-playing Game , '' Final Fantasy VII ''. Some also speculate that this anthology will also include a Remake of the original ''Final Fantasy VII'' for the PlayStation 3 . This speculation was sparked by the release of a Technical Demo at the 2005 E3 expo which featured the opening sequence of ''Final Fantasy VII'' redone in PS3-level graphics. An announcement from Square-Enix President, Yoichi Wada, following the presentation revealed that the technical demo was merely a sample of the PS3's technological capabilities and that the company currently has no plans to remake ''Final Fantasy VII''. Interviews with both Nomura and Kitase in the time since have yielded the same statement, though Nomura has said that the idea remains under consideration.
