Colton was originally a village in east Leeds , though since the 1970's and 1980's, the area has succumed to the rapid urbanisation of Leeds , and due to an Urban Sprawl , has become a Housing Estate . Colton has recently suffered an increase in Crime , Violence and Anti-social Behavior , including Vandalism and assaults. Recently a retail park has been opened which currently includes a Sainsbury's supermarket, a JJB store and most recently, a Next store. |
