Samuel began his career with Doc's Khelwalaas of his native Trinidad, where he played from 1998 to 2000. In 2000, he moved to one of the nation's largest clubs, San Juan Jabloteh , where he played the 2001 and 2002 seasons. He moved to Scotland August 5, 2002 when he was acquired by Falkirk . After an impressive season with Falkirk, in which he scored 16 goals in 42 appearances, Samuel moved to Dundee United July 11 , 2003 for £100,000. Samuel is an important player for the Trinidad And Tobago National Team , having made his debut December 8 , 2001 . He has played for the team in the 2002 CONCACAF Gold Cup . |
