COACHES INHERITED FROM PRE-GROUPING COMPANIES Various types of coaches were inherited from pre-grouping companies. COACHES BUILT BY THE LMS Period I Period II Period III PRESERVATION The Severn Valley Railway has a complete rake of Period III coaches. The LMS Carriage Association {Link without Title} also owns several coaches. MODELS In 4 Mm Scale , Hornby Railways produce some OO Gauge Period III coaches, and Bachmann Branchline some Period I ones. Comet Models ( link ) produce some excellent quality kits.
