BIOGRAPHY Their debut single was "Cleopatra's Theme", which reached #3 in the UK charts in 1998. Their second single was "Life Ain't Easy", giving them their second Top 5 hit, going in at #4. They also released a cover of The Jacksons song "I Want You Back" which was a #4 hit. Cleopatra were also part of the ensemble that released " Thank Abba For The Music ". They were signed to Madonna 's US label Maverick in 1999 . They featured on the Bee Gees ' tribute album, singing the album title track "Gotta Get A Message To You", and were asked to record a single for "Another Goofy Movie" by Disney . In 1999 they performed onboard the Disney cruise ship, with the concert being televisied in countries all over the world. Their U.S. debut single was "Cleopatra's Theme", which reached #26 on the Billboard Chart, and reached #16 on the R&B chart. They toured America with Jessica Simpson , Next and Brian McKnight and appeared on numerous TV shows, including on Jay Leno and The Queen Latifah Show . They performed at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, being introduced by Madonna . They were Covergirl spokeswomen, and sang and featured in the huge Covergirl campaign across America. Cleopatra starred in their own #1 TV Sitcom "Cleopatra Comin Atcha!" and "In The House With". They also had a Christmas special. They recorded their second album "Steppin Out" , which yielded the hit single "U Got It", in the US, working with Jam & Lewis , Dallas Austin , Daryll Simons and Stargate . They featured on Russell Watson 's debut album 'The Voice', on the track 'Someone Like You'. They recorded a second duet 'The Best That Love Can Be' for his third album 'Reprise'. Cleo has toured twice with Russell Watson On his national U.K & Ireland Tour, Blue , Girl's Aloud own. Cleo 's The new album is nearly complete and should be released soon. Cleo and her partner Marlon McKenzie had a daughter Chika Li Che McKenzie in 2001. In 2006 Cleo and partner Marlon Mckenzie had their second child together.
