Claudia Künzel (born February 1 1978 in Zschopau ) is a German Cross-country Skier . Künzel also serves as a soldier with the German Federal Armed Forces. She won the Winter Olympic 2002 gold with the relay, at the World Championships in 2003 gold with the relay and silver in the sprint. On June 27 2005 , she married her friend Trond Nystad , the coach of the American cross-country ski team. CAREER SUCCESSES
