City Park is a 1300-acre (5.3 km²) public Park in New Orleans, Louisiana . Although it is an Urban Park , it is operated by a Louisiana State Agency . {Link without Title} City Park was established in the 19th century on the land fronting Metairie Road (now City Park Avenue), but originally only went back a block or two in distance, as , including many scuptures by Enrique Alferez . City Park includes the New Orleans Botanical Garden , New Orleans Museum Of Art , a sculpture garden, Tad Gormley Stadium , "Storyland" children's Playground , a Golf Course , Miniature Railway and other amenities. |
