MAIN CAST

PLOT SUMMARY

''Andy Barclay'' has been placed in a foster home after the tragic events of the first film, since his mother was committed. In an attempt to save their reputation, the manufacturers of ''Chucky'' reconstruct the killer doll, to prove to the public that nothing was wrong with it in the first place. In doing so, they also bring the soul of serial killer Charles Lee Ray back to life. As Chucky tries to locate Andy, the body count rises. Chucky tracks his prey to a foster home where the chase begins again in this sequel to the enormously popular original. (Taken from the plot summary of Child's Play 2 VHS/DVD box)

TRIVIA

  • The names "Chucky" and "Tommy" were used for characters in '' Rugrats ''.

  • A different ending is shown during the USA Network airing version than the one in the theatrical release. After Andy and Kyle come out of the factory, during the point where the credits would usually roll, we are taken back into the factory, and shown pieces of Chucky, most notably his eye stirring into the vat of plastic, then a new head is made (without hair or eyes), the head make an evil grin (hint of a sequel?), then the credits roll.
