Charlotte Ross (born January 21 , 1968 ) is an American actress. She starred in '' NYPD Blue '' as Detective Connie McDowell from 2001 to 2004 . She also appeared on '' Days Of Our Lives '' as Eve Donovan from 1987 to 1991 . Some of her other television credits include '' The Heights '', '' The Five Mrs. Buchanans '', "Drexel's Class", "Married with Children", '' Pauly '', "Trinity", '' Beggars And Choosers '', and '' Jake In Progress ''. BIOGRAPHY The daughter of Peter and Debbie Ross, was raised in Winnetka, Illinois . Charlotte's first theater performance was at the age of 8 in '' My First Mouthpiece ''. As a young woman, she performed in productions at her hometown theater. She attended New Trier High School and later moved to Los Angeles .
