Charles Tilly




Charles Tilly (born 1929 ) is a well known American Sociologist who has written a large number of books on the relationship between Politics , Economics and Society . Tilly attended school at Harvard and Oxford before teaching at New School University , University Of Michigan and Columbia University , where he now is the Joseph L. Buttenweiser Professor of Social Science.
