He is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton . When someone suggested he try out for the college talent show he tried a few old jokes, but found real success the next year when he added a few props to his act. Carrot Top has also appeared in movies, including 1998 's '' Chairman Of The Board '', and has served as a spokesman in commercials for AT&T . Carrot Top’s brother, Garret, is a member of the Virginia Air National Guard . In 2005 Carrot Top performed a show at Naval Base Ventura County as part of the Spirit Of America Tour . At some point, around 2003 or 2004, Carrot Top developed an interest in the male physique. Public appearances in 2004 showed him with the same lanky body shape he is best known for, but with significant muscle definition. As of 2006, Carrot Top has developed a sculpted, muscular physique comparable to an amateur bodybuilder. AWARDS AND HONORS
