Cape Town International Airport (CTIA) is an Airport in Cape Town , South Africa . It is a hub for South African Airways . Cape Town International is the second-largest airport in South Africa after JNB , and a major gateway for Tourist traffic. Until the mid-1990s the airport was named DF Malan Airport after Prime Minister Daniel François Malan .

The terminals are arranged in a line along a single road, and are within easy walking distance of each other.

MANAGEMENT

CTIA is managed by the Airports Company South Africa (ACSA), which manages all major airports in South Africa. Before the formation of ACSA, all airports were managed by the State. The Department of Transport remains a major shareholder in ACSA.
