CONFERENCES

The CMS, through its Student Committee , sponsors the Bilingual Canadian Undergraduate Mathematics Conference , held each summer for Canadian Undergraduates interested in any area of mathematics. Students may each speak for up to fifty minutes on topics of their choice. The 11th and 12th meetings were held at Dalhousie University , Halifax, Nova Scotia , and Queen's University , Kingston, Ontario , respectively. In particular the Queen's conference attracted an unprecedented 150 participants from across the country. The 13th meeting will be held in summer 2006 at McGill University , Montreal, Quebec , which was also the location of the original conference.
