Caboolture Railway Line, Brisbane




The Caboolture railway line is a Suburban Railway line in Brisbane , Queensland , Australia . It branches from the Ferny Grove line at Bowen Hills . It runs through Brisbane's northern suburbs to Caboolture , and connects to Landsborough and Nambour on the Sunshine Coast via the North Coast line.

The line runs a total of 49.6 kilometres from Brisbane Central. It connects with the Ipswich line which runs south-west of Brisbane.

It branches from the Doomben / Airport lines at Eagle Junction and the Shorncliffe line at Northgate .


STATIONS

During peak hour, some services skip stations for faster travel times and to ease over-crowding for peak-hr commuters working in Brisbane.

  • A - (peak inbound) all stations to Strathpine, then express to Northgate, all stations to Eagle Junction, express to Bowen Hills, then all stations to Brisbane Central (continuing onto the Ipswich Line)

  • B - (peak inbound) all stations to Zillmere, then express to Northgate, express to Eagle Junction, express to Bowen Hills, then all stations to Brisbane Central

  • C - (peak outbound) all stations to Bowen Hills, then express to Eagle Junction, express to Northgate, express to Strathpine, then all stations to Caboolture.

  • D - (peak outbound) all stations to Bowen Hills, then Eagle Junction, Northgate, then all stations to Petrie, then express to Caboolture.

  • X - (peak hour) all stations to Petrie, then express to Northgate, express to Eagle Junction, express to Bowen Hills, then all stations to Brisbane Central


Some peak-hr services may terminate at Roma Street .
