CORR (Championship Off-Road Racing) is a sanctioning body for Offroad Racing in the United States . CORR was born in 1997, when it displaced the SODA series (when most of the drivers in SODA moved to CORR). The series was purchased by Jim Baldwin in 2005. The series will host nine events in 2006. The events are televised on the SPEED Channel . The off-road championship event is held at the Crandon International Off-Road Raceway - the "home of the world championship off-road race" since 1970. There are currently eight divisions in the series: three truck and five buggy. LIST OF PRO-4 CHAMPIONS The trucks are built or manufactured as a full-size, four-wheel-drive type utility vehicle, capable of being driven through the front wheels. Vehicle must be a standard manufacturer production model available to the general public in the U.S. Vehicle style must have the manufacturer production of 5,000.
LIST OF PRO-2 CHAMPIONS The trucks are built or manufactured as a full-size, two-wheel-drive type utility vehicle, weighting at least 3400 pounds. Vehicle must be a standard manufacturer production model available to the general public in the U.S. Vehicle style must have the manufacturer production of 5,000.
LIST OF PRO-LITE CHAMPIONS The trucks are compact trucks which have 250 horsepower, must weight 2800 pounds, and can not have more than 12 inches of front and 14 inches of rear suspension travel. Vehicle style must have a manufacturer production of 5,000.
