Briz 31 is a Community Television station based in Brisbane , Queensland , Australia . Its programming is specific to the general Brisbane community and features many locally produced shows. The station commenced transmission from its West End studios on July 31 , 1994 . On January 23 , 2006 , the station began a competition to find a new name and logo.
