Brewers Fayre prides itself on being a family restaurant suitable for everybody, and many larger outlets have a Fun factory where kids can run around and let off steam. Originally the children's character Charlie Chalk was used as the company's mascot, he has now been replaced with the firm's own Brewster the Bear. For a period in the early 2000s some Brewers Fayre outlets were rebranded as Brewster's, to differetiate between family diners and restuarants more suited for adults.
