Brent Cross tube station is a London Underground station in north London . The station is on the Edgware Branch of the Northern Line , between Hendon Central and Golders Green stations, and in Travelcard Zone 3 . The Brent Cross Shopping Centre is some distance away. However it can be reached through a series of footpaths which are relatively clearly signposted. The station opened as Brent on the 19 November 1923 , and was renamed to its current name on the 20 July 1976 on the opening of the shopping centre. EXTERNAL LINKS
