Brendon Barrie McCullum (born 27 September 1981 , Dunedin ) is a New Zealand Cricketer , more specifically a Wicket-keeper . He was also captain of the New Zealand under-19 side, and was selected in the 20-man ICC World XI squad for the ICC Super Series in July 2005.

Brendon's brother Nathan McCullum is also a first-class cricketer at provincial level, and their father Stu McCullum was a long-serving first-class player for Otago.

Brendon is a wicketkeeper-batsman for the New Zealand cricket team (both one-dayers and Test matches). His wicketkeeping has improved during his tenure as the incumbent New Zealand Test wicketkeeper. His batting potential is obvious from his time in the NZ Under-19 squad, where he demonstrated his ability to dominate bowling attacks. Although he currently bats in the middle order, he has expressed his desire to open the batting in ODI s. He is a player perfectly suited to Twenty20 Cricket as demonstrated by his 22-ball 62 against Auckland in the inaugural New Zealand domestic Twenty20 competition.

He has two Test hundreds and five fifties and has been dismissed twice in the nineties.
