The Branxton area was settled in the 1820s and was named after Branxton , England . Branxton is located on the New England Highway between Maitland and Singleton . It is about 200 kilometres north of Sydney . It is close to major Grape -growing areas. The town has a Lions Club, two cemeteries and no hospital. |
