Brad Miller (congressman)

Ralph Bradley (Brad) Miller (born May 19, 1953) is an American politician from North Carolina .

EARLIER LIFE

He was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina . Received a B.A. from the University Of North Carolina At Chapel Hill in 1975; a M.S. from the London School Of Economics in 1978; and a J.D. from Columbia University in 1979. He was a member of the North Carolina State House Of Representatives from 1992 until 1994; member of the North Carolina State Senate , 1996-2002.

CONGRESSIONAL TERM

In 2002, Miller was elected to represent North Carolina in the , earning 59% of the popular vote and defeating Republican Virginia Johnson .
