Bomex is a brand of Borosilicate glassware, similar to Pyrex and Kimax in composition, but not in quality. It is generally regarded as the lower quality brand, not tolerating thermal stress in a manner that Pyrex, Kimax, and other brands would be able to endure. Bomex is made in China. |
