The school was opened in 1978 and the current Headteacher is Mr Alan Taylor-Bennett. Bohunt is designated a Language College which means that it specialises in modern foreign languages and all puils take at least one to GCSE with many taking two. Bohunt's main intake comes mostly from three schools known as "the Bohunt triangle" theses are Liss Junior School , Liphook Church Of England (controlled) Junior School and Greatham Primary School with some of it's intake also coming from Grayshott C E Controlled Primary School and other local schools in Hampshire , Surrey , and Sussex . The pupils are split up into a house system with nine houses, each taking the name of an important person from the local area these are:
