Bob has been the longest lasting human character, and one of the most popular, on that show, leading to a Noggin segment proclaiming "the four decades of Bob" when promoting Sesame Street on that network. McGrath is a 1954 graduate of the University Of Michigan 's School of Music. While attending Michigan, he was a member of the University Of Michigan Men's Glee Club . For almost 30 years, McGrath has been a regular fixture on Telemiracle , a Saskatchewan Telethon , and the Queen awarded him the Saskatchewan Centennial Medal for this work on March 3, 2006. {Link without Title} EXTERNAL LINKS |
