''Black Metal'' is the second album by Venom , and the origin of the term " Black Metal ". It was released in 1982. It is considered one of the most important albums to the Extreme Metal movement, most notably the emerging Thrash Metal , Death Metal and black metal scenes of the 1980s and 1990s. However, it should be noted that the album's musical content is different than what is nowadays considered "black metal".
