''Black Cherry'' is the title of and Will Gregory was different from the band's previous album, ''Felt Mountain''. ''Black Cherry'' had pronounced, groovy drum beats and a generally edgier, more hectic atmosphere. The album was also a minor chart success, peaking at number nineteen on the UK Albums Chart.
