Belsize Park tube station is a London Underground station in Belsize Park , north London . The station is on the Edgware Branch of the Northern Line , between Chalk Farm and Hampstead stations, and in Travelcard Zone 2 . Major points of interest in the area include the Royal Free Hampstead hospital (often called The Royal Free). Belsize Park is also one of eight London Underground stations which has a Deep-level Air-raid Shelter underneath it. Entrances to the shelter are at the junction of Haverstock Hill and Downside Crescent and off Haverstock Hill.
