The original station in Bedworth was closed and demolished in the 1960s when passenger services were removed from the Coventry-Nuneaton line. The present station was opened in 1988 when passenger services were restored. Until a few years ago Bedworth station had direct links to the East Midlands . However as part of changes to track layout at Nuneaton station, the link to the Nuneaton-Leicester line was removed and so trains on the line only go between Coventry and Nuneaton. EXTERNAL LINKS |
