Beatrix S. Loughran (born June 30 , 1900 in New York, NY ; died Dec 7 , 1975 ) is an American Figure Skater . She is the only American to win three Olympic medals in figure skating (1924, 1928, 1932). She is a six-time National champion (1925-1927 in singles, 1930-1932 in pairs). In 1997, Loughran was inducted into the United States Figure Skating Hall of Fame. |
