Every Spring , the town takes part in an ancient ritual celebrating the rebirth of the sun. People line the streets in colorful garments, and houses are decorated with brilliant colors. Then, to celebrate the emegerence of the Sun after the cold winter, the residents shed their clothing and run and dance through the streets. Also, an ancient tall tale of Arturo the Proud, has perpetuated in the town. The story is said to be based on a soldier who died a grusome death in the town, and Arturo nows lives on to haunt young children who are awake after Sunset . |
